BSNL has decided to extend Student Power Plan upto 31.08.2006 for existing subscribers of this plan.

Subscribers of this plan can also opt a special SMS package as follows :

In respect of subscribers who do not opt for this special SMS package , charges for SMS will be as per existing plan.

Subscribers can also opt for any postpaid plan after 31.08.2006. If no specific request is received upto 31.08.2006 they will be shifted to Plan 225 automatically.

All other conditions remain same.

1.8    One India Plan

       " BSNL One India " Plan under Postpaid Cellular Services with the following criteria  :

              *   It is applicable only when connection is not available on demand.

Note  :   
            1)     Service Tax as applicable will be extra.
            2)     The scheme will be launched w.e.f. 01.03.2006
            3)     Migration to this plan from the existing plan is permissible.

1.9    One India Roaming Plan

     " BSNL One India Roaming" Plan under Postpaid Cellular Services with the following criteria  :

Note  :   
            1)     Service Tax as applicable will be extra.
            2)     The scheme will be launched w.e.f. 01.06.2006
            3)     Migration to this plan from the existing plans & vice versa is permissible.

2.1  CORPORATE PLAN :

           No Activation charge for more than 50 connections from a single Organisation.
            No Airtime charges among these numbers in home network.
            Monthly membership charges  :-

 Revision of VPN Tariff w.e.f. 15.04.2006 for Corporate and Non-Corporate Customers :

 NOTE  :    
(i)  The above VPN / CUG facility is available in the same Licensed Service Area (LSA) only.

(ii)  Minimum number of connection for the above VPN/CUG facility is 3. No resctiction on the mix of plan for forming VPN/CUG group.

(iii) However, CUG/VPN facility may also be given with Plan 140 on monthly VPN charges of Rs. 100/75/50 for goup size of 3-25, 26-999 & >999 respectively to Corporate customers only. Corporate customer in this connection will be identified as per per this office letter No. 3-32/2002-R&C (Pt.) dated 08.08.2003 and subsequent amendments.

(iv) Existing VPN/CUG groups may be charged as per above.

(v) Service Tax & Educational Cess as applicable will be extra.

(vi) The scheme will be effective from 15.04.2006.

(vii) Migration to these plans from other existing plans and vice versa is permissible without any additinal charge.

2.1   FRIENDS  &  FAMILY  Talk Scheme  :

Note  :

      •       LSA - Licensed Service Area

      •     * Cell to others include Fixed, FWT, WLL(LM) services of BSNL within the BSNL LSA
                 (Calcutta Telephones) subject to three member maximum.
       •      This scheme is applicable within BSNL LSA Network only.
       •      Any BSNL subscriber irrespective of technology can be a "Friends & Family talk" member
                 for CellOne subscribers of Plan - 325 & Plan - 525.
       •      The revised tariff will be applicable from 01.12.2004.

        To get F&F facility, existing CellOne Subscriber has to apply in Plain paper to "Divisional
Engineer, C.M.T.S., Calcutta Telephones, P-10, New C.I.T. Road, Kolkata - 700 073.

2.2 ROAMING CHARGE  :

2.3 FREE SECURITY DEPOSIT SCHEME

    1.   The customers having landline telephone of Calcutta Telephones with local call facility will be           provided new mobile connection with local call facility only.If he/she requires STD/Roaming           facility, he/she has to pay Rs 2000 as security deposit.

    2.   New mobile connection will be provided with STD facility without security deposit if the           landline phone is having STD facility, otherwise security deposit of Rs 2000  will have to be           paid.

             •    If no STD details is available in the bill of the landline telephone, customer will have to                   self certify in the bill itself that he/she is having STD facility.

             •     STD/ROAMING facility will be provided to the mobile connection only after verification at                    the NS Cell,Tirettabazar, even if the form is  accepted at the sales counters.

    3.   Full security deposit of Rs 3000 is to be paid for ISD facility.

    4.   Subscribers will have to sign a mandate form. No form will be accepted without  the last paid            bill of the landline number and mandate form duly signed in.

    5.   PSTN customers submitting following documents are not eligible for this facility :
                     a.  Bill of Class Code - 70
                     b.  Bill Category Code - L
                     c.  Bills in the name of organisation or C/o any organisation
                     d.  Any duplicate Bill
                     e.  Bill of WLL Mobile (Numbers starting with '21' )
                     f.   Bill of STD PCO (Numbers starting with '28' )

           •    Additional documents (with all other necessary documents) required to                be submitted by the customers along with the application form duly filled in  :

                    a.  A copy of last paid bill of PSTN number of Calcutta Telephones.
                    b.  A mandate form signed by the customers (Mandate form will be                          available at sales counter or can be downloaded from here.Photocopy of the                               mandate form will be accepted).

    1.   All charges are in Indian Rupees.

    2.   Service Tax @12.24 % will be applicable as per rule.

    3.   All deposits are non-interest bearing.

    4.   The same rate plans and tariffs will continue to apply till such time as you
          inform us in writing of the change and its activation in the system.

    5.   The plan charge and rental will be payable irrespective of any usage. Any unutilized free           airtime under any of the BSNL plans will not be carried forward to the next month.

    6.   BSNL reserves the right to change the rate plans and tariffs at any time without prior notice.

Excel Power Plan

Call @ Rs. 0.10 per minute from BSNL mobiles to any two BSNL phones.

REDUCED CALL CHARGES FROM CELLULLAR TO BSNL (FIXED/CELLULAR /WLL) WITH IN LSA (Calcutta Telephones & West Bengal Telecom Circle)

Under this EXCEL POWER plan BSNL prepaid cellular subscribers can call any two BSNL phones (One land line number is mandatory) within circle/LSA at reduced rate of Rs.0.10 per minute with 60second pulse rate.

The terms and conditions are as follows :

1. The call charges for the two selected numbers under this scheme is Rs. 0.10 per minute
    with 60 second pulse rate.
2. All other calls will be charged as per plan.
3. The number once selected can not be changed for a period of six months except for
    some technical reason.
4. The above facility is not applicable for subscriber under "Excel Anant" and
    "Excel One India".
5.This scheme is equally applicable to all postpaid plans.
This scheme is applicable with effect from 16.07.2006.

   Expiry Date :

It is the expiry date of a Pre paid coupon. It is counted from the date of recharge. You can not make call when your account crosses the expiry date though you might have some balance in the coupon.

   Grace period :

You can not make call with balance amount once the account crosses its expiry date, but if you recharge with a new coupon within a specific period (grace period) from the date of expiry, the  balance amount of your account will be added with 'Talkvalue' of your new coupon.

   Additional Grace Period :

After expire of Grace Period the existing balance amount will lapse but the mobile connection will  not be deactivated. Additional grace period is provided, so that mobile connection be revived   by recharging with a of any denomination. You need not pay any activation charge of   Rs. 200. the connection will be permanently closed, if not recharged within Additional Grace Period.

  Note :

  1.  All charges are in Indian Rupees.
  2.  Validity period starts from the date of recharging for normal coupon.

  Steps for recharging an account :

i)  Dial 123 and Press 2 and listen to the IVRS announcement. Press the 16 digit secret code available in the recharge coupon followed by #. Wait for IVRS prompt and confirm secrect code by  pressing #. Wait for a few seconds. The system will prompt you    the balance amount and date  of expiry. This is an one time activity after buying a recharge coupon. You can also recharge by dialling *123* 16 digit secret codes # .

ii) You can dial 123, listen to announcement and Press 1 for checking your balance amount any time. Dial *123# to get balance information on your handset screen . 

2.5    Excel Anant

BSNL introduces new life time validity SIM "Excel Anant" only for Rs. 949
with the following criteria  :-

       Note  :-

           i)     Own network implies BSNL (Fixed, WLL and Celluiar) services
          ii)      This scheme is to be offered to the customers taking new connection under
                   Prepaid services with a new SIM.
         iii)      The subscriber under this plan has to recharge through existing top up cards
                   within 6 months of time failing which the card will be permanently deactivated.

2.6    One India Plan

       " BSNL One India " Plan under Prepaid Cellular Services with the following criteria  :

      1)     a)   This scheme is to be offered to the customers taking new connection under
                      prepaid services with new SIM..
              b)    Further recharging will be done with recharge coupon of Rs. 799 or existing
                      top up cards only.
     2)             The scheme will be launched w.e.f. 01.03.2006
     3)             Migration to this plan from the existing plan is permissible.
