 DATAONE - HOME PLANS

   Tariff for Broadband Home Combo Plans :

   Special Tariff for Army Broadband Combo Plans :

          This tariff scheme is subjected to the following conditions
               1.   The minimum commitment period for the Broadband combo connections will be for 2 years.
               2.   This tariff plan is applicable for the connections installed within September' 2009
               3.   The ownership of modem will be with BSNL and in case of closure of the connection the modem
                     will be returned to BSNL in good working condition.

Tariff for DataOne Unlimited 750, 750 Plus, 1350 & 1350 Plus Plans
    (  Plan 900 and 900 Plus renamed as Plan 750 and 750 Plus respectively with reduced monthly charges )

   Note :-
       *     Monthly fixed charge of the Unlimited Home Plan 750 and 750 Plus has been
              reduced for the period 15.11.2008 to 12.02.2009 . ( See New scheme/Click here)

       **    Due to some technical reason the promotional offer of upgradation of Bandwidth of               UL750 and UL750 Plus Broadband Business Plan from  256 Kbps to 512 Kbps for the               period 26.12.2008 to 25.03.2009 is CANCELLED.

              Existing Unlimited Home & Business Customer will be automatically upgraded to this               plan
       1)   This tariff is excluding of Service Tax, which will be charged as per prevailing rates

       2)   This tariff will be effective from 1st April' 2008

       3)   All other terms and conditions will remain same.
     •  Existing broadband customers may apply to AO(TR) of the concerned Area for change
         of landline/broadband plan .

Conditions for providing Home plan or Business plan

Registration Fees

In order to discourage fake booking for broadband connection a registration fee of Rs. 100 may be charged.

Change of plan

The change of plan to Home 250 and Business 700 may be allowed with effect from 1st Sept.,2005

Excess Security Deposit & Requirement of mandate

Note  :-
       1)    In addition to the above one static IP address can also be offered @ Rs. 15,00/-  per annum to all the
               Business plans 3000, 5000, and 9000. , where one static IP address is being offered, free of cost.

     * Service Taxes Extra

     Note  :-
       1)    Service Taxes Extra
       2)    The Type II Modems shall be offered free to Business 4000 and Business 15000
               customers, subject to availability.   In cases of non-availability of Type II Modems,
              other types may be offered.
       3)   The plan shall be limited to either up loading or down loading data volumes which
             ever is reached earlier.
       4)   All other terms and conditions are same as for other plans.

Billing for the service will be included in the normal bfone bill.

                                                    DataOne -- Unlimited Business Plan

Note  :-

Other conditions  :-

      a)      Security Deposit for unlimited Broadband Business Plan will be equivqlent to One
                Months Fixed Charges.
      b)      For the new customer opting for Business UL 3300 Plus / Ul 6000 Plus plans will
                have to pay Security Deposit as applicable for Local / STD / ISD.
      c)      Security Deposit & Fixed Monthly Charges for the Modem will be as per the existing
               instructions.
      d)     The customer will have choice to select the modem type of his choice subject to
               availability.
      e)     For the customers, who have either procured the modem or have taken the modem
               under the committed period plan, the modem rental shall not be applicable.
       f)     For this plan free modem can be offered to the customers if the customer commits
              for a period of 12 months and pays the necessary charges in advance.

*  Up linking will be maximum 768 Kbps under both the plans

Different types of Modem

It is also clarified that only Type I modem may be given on rental at present.

When the customer is on monthly rent scheme for the Modem and deceides to opt for outright purchase of modem from BSNL, he/she will be charged as follows :-

   Option 1    :   If the customer wants to continue with existing used modem, 50% of the amount
                          already paid as monthly rentals should be adjusted in the sale price of modem.

   Option 2   :   If the customer wants new modem, full amount is to be taken from the customer
                         as per prevailing price and the old modem is to be returned by the customer in
                          working condition.

                                                     New Broadband Home Plans

The following three new Broadband services under Home Plans has been introduce with effect from 01.08.2008.

Details of tariff are as under.

1. The above tariff is exclusive of Service Tax which will be charged extra as applicable.
2. For the all three Home Plans, security Deposit and Fixed monthly charges for the modem will be as per existing instructions.
3. The customers will have choice to select the modem type of his choice subject to availability.
4. The Plan shall be limited to either up loading or down loading data volumes which ever is reached earlier.
5. The existing BB customer under Home segment with any BB Plan may migrate to Home Flexi – 350, Home Combo – 299 and Home Combo – 199.
6. All other terms and conditions will remain same

   ADSL: ADSL(Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line)modems are used for accessing Broadband            through telephone lines upto speeds of 12 Mbps upon the distance and quality of line.
     WiFi: ADSL/VDSL modems with WiFi are suitable for broadband access through wireless i.e.            within the home or office. Customers using Laptop may opt for this modem.
        TA: Using modems with Terminal Adapter(TA), customers will be able to make voice calls             through BSNL server. BSNL is planning to launch this service shortly.
    VDSL: VDSL(Very high Speed Digital Subscriber line) modems are used for accessing very            high speed Broadband of 16 Mbps and above. Upto a distance of 1 Km VDSL modem can            be used.

   BSNL has approved the provision of Broadband Business plan at home on written request from customer under the condition that he will not be allowed to return to Home plan again on the said connection in future.
   
   
   *********Promotion of Broadband service-concessions to prospective customers for a period of 30 days w.e.f 02.03.2010*********
   
   1. Installation charges:- for provision of New Broadband connections are waived off Irrespective of the Modem having been taken on monthly rental basis from BSNL or purchased by the customer of hls/her own.
   2. Security Deposit for Broadband:- (as applicable for the Opted plan) and Modem Security Deposit
   (In case Modem Is taken on hire basis from BSNL)shall be taken in three equal monthly Installments starting from the first bill.
   
   BSNL has decided to extend the above offer further for a period of 30 days w.e.f. 02.03.2010. Accordingly the approval of BSNL is hereby conveved for allowing the above concessions to prospective customers w.e.f 02.03.2010 to 31.03.2010 for promotlon of Broadband Service of BSNL.
   
   The above concessions shall be applicable for New Broadband customers only and the
   offer shall be valid from 02.03.2010 to 31.03.2010 only.
